Frequently Asked Questions

What ages do you provide sensory breaks for?

Currently, we are focusing on children and youth ages 2-15 years old. Keep an eye out for any changes in the future!

Are we allowed to wear shoes in the facility?

For hygiene reasons, shoes are not allowed past the entrance area. We have children and youth that visit with sensory processing needs, which can include putting items in their mouths. So we want to ensure that any unnecessary dirt is eliminated from the environment. **Please ensure that you are wearing socks during your visit. If there are sensory reasons for not being able to do so, please let us know!

We have socks available if needed (brand new).

Do you provide respite for families?

At this time, we do not provide respite; however, that is something that we would like to work towards!

Are we required to book a time slot to visit?

Absolutely not! We understand that sensory needs vary with each child, so we are open for drop in visits during our operational hours! However; it is highly recommended to schedule in advance, as we want to ensure that we are not overcrowded so that each of our visitors is comfortable and not overwhelmed by noise! Our capacity limit is low to ensure that each visitors needs are able to be met.

Are we able to rent out the entire space?

Yes! If you would like to rent out the entire space, please send us an email so we can properly understand what you will be utilizing the space for, and so that we can provide pricing.

Do you allow service animals?

Service animals are absolutely allowed to enter with you. Please let us know if you will be bringing a service animal with you so that we can ensure that other clients are aware in case of allergies, anxiety, etc.
